What " WE THE PEOPLE " is about

Hello Friends and fellow readers,

Let me introduce myself and my friend to you all. I am Ramanujan & my friend helping me with this initiative is Sudheer. We have succeeded in our technical acumen as engineers. As frustrated citizens of Bangalore we decided to start this hoping that it would help the city/state/nation.

With this blog what we would like to do is to create Awareness & Discipline in people for small deeds of theirs' which causes either an inconvenience to others or damages public property, or against their own hygiene.

These deeds are knowingly or unknowingly done by all of us, but its upto us to correct/rectify them. A simple example of this is Spitting or Urinating in Public Places........ Lots more of such small things to come.

The Simple way that we adopt with this blog is a Question and answer method or a Problem and Solution Method, with the problem we will provide an evidence each week with the related problem.

Every week we will deal with an issue related to such simple problems where even U Readers could give us more suggestions and the other users by following these could implement them in their everyday life.

The readers could also pitch in with evidence too .

Finally pls ask this question to yourself " what you did for the country and not what the country did for you ", so that we make it a better place for all to live in.

Regards,

Ramanujan & Sudheer

I read about you guys in The Hindu, dated Sep 12 and was really impressed with the work you have done. Planting trees and raising awareness was a very pro-active idea. Congratulations :)
Getting here through the links listed in the article, I was hoping to find more good stuff. I see that while this blog is still very young, you could do with re-designing the page and making it more attractive, as also removing grammatical errors.
Hope to see you guys reaching greater heights!

i volunteer with the Children's Movement for Civic Awareness - where we sensitise children (13-14 yr olds)to civic issues, Active Citizenship etc thru civic clubs in schools. It was great reading about what you have done for 5th blk jayanagar. It is exactly this kind of citizenship that we seek to cultivate in our jr citizens who are part of our 50 blr civic clubs. WELL DONE! and THANK YOU!!

HI, Nice blog, nice views and very impressive title "We The People"...Congrats Ramanujan & Sudhir …fine beginning!!! but still I would like to suggest/comment on few things to better up the blog/our blog (If you don’t mind) or to better up ourselves” WE THE PEOPLE..."

First thing: I agree with Smee's comments made on Page settings and few grammatical errors. It’s better if you can take an immediate action in this case especially the page settings. This blog in black is looking bit adverse… It looks quite depressive and gloomy, which doesn’t walk with your views and ideas…And even black is a sign of evil and wickedness!!!(Though superstitious…anyways we are Indians… And Superstitious Beliefs is also a good topic to discuss about, you will find ample of stories and pictures in this case…why don’t you try this once!!!) And changing the template is very simple (Sing In>Click, Manage Settings>Template >pick new template>Save Template!!!Done; )
And regarding grammatical errors, take your own time or spend more time with your postings…check and recheck and take few friend’s opinion…before you post them … that can help you to make out corrections.

And I read most of your articles/postings, but the way you are presenting your thoughts are not satisfactory. While I was going through the articles I thought / felt as you are pointing your finger to the people/me, you are blaming them/us. It gave a bit of bad impression. End of the day what really matters is “presentation” Don’t ask more questions in any article, try to convey people humbly, spread your thoughts as if you have moved emotionally with these incidents. Present your thoughts with an idea.

Friend, hope you don’t mind my comments I still have to say few more things but I am running out of time. One of my friends invited me to this blog…Thanks Lakshmisha, Let us keep in touch, hopefully…
